The Roman Road To Salvation

1. A sinner must know he is lost.
Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:  Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

2. A sinner must know the price of sin is death.
 Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

3. A sinner must know he can't save himself.
Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

4. A sinner must know Jesus is the only one who can save.
Romans 5:6-8 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet perhaps for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commends his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

5. A sinner must know he is saved through Jesus Christ by faith.
Romans 10:9 That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.
Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

6. Pray to receive Jesus: Father, I know that I am a sinner. I believe that you sent your Son to die on the cross for my sins. I am sorry for my sin and ask you to forgive me for my sins. I accept and believe on your Son, Jesus Christ, as my Lord and Savior. Please save my soul Jesus. Come and live in my heart. Amen

If you prayed this prayer and have accepted Jesus as your Saviour. Your next step is find a Bible believing and preaching church.
