Teacher Update:
 

 We have a new toddler teacher and her name is Ms Debbie. Ms. Debbie has experience in childcare and has completed the required classes in her field. Ms. Debbie comes to us from Highlands Day Care and we are blessed to have her become part of the Eastport family. She has a heart for the Lord and her attitude and speech reflect this. Drop by and tell her hello. Her class is located next to Ms. Ashley’s as you enter the main building.

We have openings for two toddlers if you know of anyone needing care.

PARENTS-PARENTS-PARENTS
Please write your child’s name on any item you bring into the preschool. If you drop off diapers you will need to write their name on the package or bag. Coats especially need to have your child’s name on the label. If lost we do not know who they belong to.

Fall Festival Review:

The fall festival was a huge success in spite of the rain. We all enjoyed the pumpkin painting, hay ride, carnival games, and festival food. The pictures of the festival came out so good and the parent support amazing. Hope everyone had as much fun as I did.

It is getting cold and all children need to wear shoes that can be tied, buckled or have a Velcro strap. Croc’s, flip flops or slides are not shoes that promote safety. Your child will need a jacket if the weather is cold for outdoor play. We have a couple of extra jackets but this seems to be a problem this year so please send a jacket if the weather is cold.

Croc’s, flip flops or slides are not shoes that promote safety. Your child will need a jacket if the weather is cold for outdoor play. Food, Food, and more Food will be the excitement of the day. Eastport Preschool is hosting a Thanksgiving Luncheon for our children and their parents. Everyone that plans to attend should start making plans now to attend this lunch. The menu will consist of  succulent baked chicken, creamy mashed potatoes, southern green beans, fresh salad, warm rolls dripping with hot butter and a festive cake for dessert.

Those attending need to RSVP as soon as possible to make their reservations so the preschool will be sure and have enough food. This dinner will be given in honor or all the parents who have volunteered and served the preschool this year.
